A social audit is a structured way of measuring, understanding and reporting on how beneficiaries of a programme assess the utility and effectiveness of the programme in addressing the community needs.
The A4T Social Audits aim at determining the perceptions/experiences of the users on their:
- Awareness on existing government directives on affordability of education and health services in view of existing directives Free Primary and Secondary Education;
- Awareness and involvement in budgetary processes at the public primary schools in their communities;
- Assessment on the accessibility and quality of services offered at the public primary schools in their communities;
- Value for Money considerations in making comparisons on economy, efficiency and costs of services vis a vis the resources used;
